In memory of
Tiggy

Tiggy was born sometime during the early summer of 2008. Susan fell in love with him in August while visiting her friend Beverly at Cat’s Cradle Animal Rescue.

At the beginning of his life, Tiggy was very sick, but Beverly and Dr. Liz Wilson pulled him through.  In this picture, Beverly is proudly showing Susan how adorable Tiggy is, even with a bad head cold and a generous slather of eye ointment.

Susan brought Tiggy home on September 6th.  He liked the little covered bed that she had ready just for him.

But he preferred to sleep with Valdi.

He didn’t even mind the camera flash first thing in the morning. (Unlike Valdi.)

Tiggy loved to hang out with his family.

When Mackie had a cold Tiggy watched carefully. He wanted to be like the big cats.

Lucy appreciated Tiggy’s gentlemanly ways.

Lio loved to snuggle with Tiggy.

Tiggy loved his Uncle George.  Susan and Valdi tried not to feel jealous.

We’re so grateful that Tiggy was a member of our tribe.

Tiggy passed from this life in the early morning of December 4th

So tiny, so young, so cherished!

When Valdi and Susan couldn’t be with him at the end of his life, other hands cared for him with skill and compassion.  We know that he was surrounded by love.

We thank Beverly Archer and Cat’s Cradle Animal Rescue,  Yeshe, Nancy Singleton, Dr. Liz Wilson, Noelle and the staff at Broadmead Village Veterinary Clinic; Dr. Sharp, Dr. Tamara MacDonald, Jane, Dr. Melanie Tallon, Vera and the staff at Canada West Veterinary Specialists and Critical Care Hospital.

We will love Tiggy forever.

Susan & Valdi
