Tick Tock

"I'm a bit scared, but sure would like a friend !"

Tick Tock is a handsome gal who is currently in a wonderful foster home. While she is not ready for adoption, we want to let people know about this lovely girl and follow her progress.

Foster Mom's comments:

Tick Tock is doing quite well. Tick Tock has settled in and has her little routines now. She's a cat who likes to know things are happening the way they are supposed to be

I have established that she definitely cannot hear. Although you can notice at certain sound frequencies her ears do react, for the most part I'm quite certain she hears nothing. This would account for much of her hesitancy around people. She really likes to know where you are and what you are doing and if you come upon her unawares she becomes quite disconcerted.

She has a habit of following me around, but as she is walking just about under my feet she is looking back at me almost the entire time.  She definitely likes to keep me in her sights. I can pat her now but she still won't allow me to get near her head. She's very sensitive about that.

If anything upsets her, her breathing becomes quite labored. I get the feeling from the way she follows me around, she likes me a lot and wants to feel more trusting. She's just not there yet.
