Cat’s Cradle Animal Rescue is a non-profit registered charity (CRA# 85627
5557 RR0001). 99% of the money collected from sponsors goes directly to helping the animals in our care.
Tax receipts are issued for all monetary donations.
Sponsoring can be
paid in cash, by cheque or by using
your VISA or MasterCard (Do not send cash in the mail!)

A sponsor is a company or individual who donates:
- $100 or more during a one-year period
- $10 or more per month with a minimum one-year commitment
- items or assistance worth $100 or more in a one-year period (contact us)
A sponsor may designate their donation for
- a specific rescued animal while it awaits adoption
- a specific category, e.g. food, veterinary costs, bedding, etc.
- the area where CCAR needs it most at the time
A sponsor who donates $100 to $499 in a year will receive:
- a receipt for tax purposes
- mention on our Sponsor List
- if a specific animal is chosen, a photo, a monthly report (until adoption) and visits to the animal’s foster home with proper arrangements
- a report on how CCAR used the money in a specific category
- a report on how CCAR used the money in the area of highest need
A sponsor who donates $500 or more in a year may choose any or all of these:
- a receipt for tax purposes
- company logo or name on CCAR home page
- link to their website from ours
- mention on our Sponsor List
- the benefits mentioned above for donations under $500
Sponsors with limited income:
Students, seniors and others on a limited income may donate a one-time
gift of $25 for a specific animal or for general use. These sponsors
will receive a tax receipt and mention on the animal’s biography page.
